The Philippine flag flew high in Japan as SB19, BGYO, and Cup of Joe stepped onto the stage of the D.U.N.K. Showcase at K-Arena Yokohama. From March 13 to 15, the three Filipino acts delivered performances that spotlighted the range of modern Filipino music, from heartfelt OPM band anthems to high-powered P-pop stages.

Cup of Joe Opens the PH Moment on Day 1

On March 13, OPM band Cup of Joe kicked off the Filipino takeover with their signature pop-rock sound, performing fan favorites like “Multo” and “Silakbo.” The band’s powerhouse vocals left a lasting impression on the Japanese audience.

Looking ahead, their fans, Joewahs, are eagerly anticipating SANDALI: The Cup of Joe Fest, set for May 23, 2026, at the Philippine Sports Stadium. This concert will mark a historic moment as the group becomes the first OPM act to hold a solo concert at this venue.

BGYO Powers Up the Stage on Day 2

On March 14, BGYO stepped into the spotlight and brought pure P-pop energy to the showcase. Their set included songs such as “FRESH” and “Gigil,” highlighting the group’s signature choreography, vocals, and stage charisma.

Their momentum keeps building: their official music video for “FRESH” recently surpassed one million views on YouTube, showing how strongly the track continues to resonate with fans.

SB19 Sets the Stage Ablaze on the Final Day

On March 15, SB19 brought the house down, delivering performances that had the crowd on their feet. Their set featured some of their biggest hits, including “GENTO,” “CRIMZONE,” “DAM,” and their latest single “VISA.”

The group also delivered unforgettable crossover moments, teaming up with Japanese boy group BE:FIRST for the unreleased track “TOYFRIEND.” SB19’s Ken, Pablo, and Josh also participated in the rap collaboration for SKY-HI’s “ID.
