Admin Guidelines

Effective Date: March 28, 2025

Welcome, P-Pop Fandom Masters!

Poppin welcomes two types of leaders who help shape the community.

  • Admins – Own and manage specific fandom spaces, keeping them organized and active.
  • Contributors – Create content such as news articles and graphic designs to promote P-Pop and the platform.

If you’re interested in becoming an Admin, you’re in the right place. Otherwise, check out our Contributor Guidelines.

1. What Can Admins Do?

Admins have full control over their fandom spaces. These tools ensure each fandom space is structured the way its community wants.

  • Change the Space Name – Customize the space title to match your fandom culture. The current fandom space names were created as examples.
  • Change the Space URL – Create a short, recognizable link.
  • Edit Description – Define what the space is about and what fans can expect.
  • Set Privacy Controls – Decide who can view content (public, private, invite-only).
  • Manage Posting Permissions – Choose who can post (everyone, approved members, admins only).
  • Show/Hide Member Count – Display or hide the total number of members.
  • Categorize Topics – Add up to 20 topics that users must select from when posting.
  • Add a Featured Image – Set a banner or main image that represents the space (1680x600px).
  • Add Featured Links – Highlight important resources, projects, or fanbase links.
  • Edit & Remove Posts – Moderate content to keep discussions relevant and respectful.
  • Pin Posts – Feature important announcements at the top or in the sidebar.
  • Disable Comments – Prevent discussions on specific posts when needed.
  • Remove Members – Moderate the group by removing inactive or disruptive users.
  • Assign Membership Roles – Set users as regular members, moderators, or admins.
2. Managing Fandom Spaces

There is no limit to the number of fandom spaces that can exist, as they are collapsible for users. However, we recommend keeping it under 15 per group to prevent inactive or empty spaces.

Some fandoms may prefer separate spaces for:

  • Group-wide discussions
  • Solo members
  • Creative content
  • Special traditions or projects
  • And more

The choice is yours—just make sure each space remains active and engaging.

3. Admin Structure & Internal Coordination

Poppin does not decide who becomes an admin. This is best handled within your fandom. This is why we are a fan-powered platform.

  • Admins should communicate with each other to decide responsibilities.
  • Admins will receive badges that indicate their roles.
  • A private admin-only space is available for internal coordination.

This ensures smooth management without unnecessary conflicts. Admins play a crucial role in shaping the experience for fellow fans, so organize well, stay active, and make your space a thriving community. For those interested, send us an email at hey@poppin.global or message us on Instagram or X @poppinplatform.

We understand that more heads are better than a few, so we are always open to suggestions. After all, we share the same mission: to grow a P-Pop community we can proudly showcase to the world, encourage others to join, and make P-Pop global.

Why Bring Your Fandom to Poppin?

Poppin is built exclusively for P-Pop, providing fandoms with a space where they can thrive without competition from other topics or getting buried under unrelated discussions. Having a dedicated space for your fandom gives members a stronger sense of belonging and a deeper connection to the community.

Instead of your content simply passing by on a cluttered social media feed, Poppin ensures that fans are more focused, intentional, and engaged when interacting with posts. This leads to stronger support, better visibility, and more meaningful conversations, helping fandoms grow and stay connected in a way that general social media platforms can’t provide.

Every feature, post, and discussion revolves around P-Pop. No distractions, no fighting for visibility.

The platform’s centralized feed helps both big and small fandoms gain recognition, unlike social media algorithms that favor only viral posts.

Unlike Facebook groups or X threads that can get lost in timelines, Poppin ensures content stays relevant and easy to discover.

From idol rankings to event calendars and news updates, Poppin offers tools specifically designed to boost fan activities.

With local and international fans in one place, Poppin makes it easier to show the world how big the P-Pop community truly is.

We plan to encourage international content creators to make more content about P-Pop. But for them to see the potential, we need to prove how massive and engaged the P-Pop community is. This will only be possible if all fandoms come together in one place.
