Arabelle stood out among 25 contestants from nine countries in the first international edition of Veiled Cup Korea, a singing competition where performers sing behind a veil. Contestants came from the Philippines, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Laos, Mongolia, and Thailand. The Philippines was represented by Arabelle Dela Cruz, Garrett Bolden, and Thea Astley, with Arabelle emerging as the only Filipino to advance to the grand finals.
Her journey began with a soulful first-round performance of “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys, instantly catching attention with her control, emotion, and vocal clarity. In the later rounds, she rose through fierce competition against fellow finalists from Laos, South Korea, and Thailand.
