SB19

Kings of P-pop

Profile

Felip Jhon Suson, professionally known as Ken or mononymously as FELIP, is a Filipino rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, and producer. Best known as the main dancer and lead rapper of SB19, Ken is celebrated for his rich, deep vocal tone and commanding stage presence. While he rose to prominence as part of SB19, he has also carved out a bold, genre-defying solo career under the name FELIP, experimenting with R&B, hip-hop, and rock in his solo releases.

Early Life

Ken was born in Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur, and raised by his grandparents in Lakewood. He comes from a deeply spiritual family (his father and grandfather were both pastors) which exposed him to gospel music early on. This foundation, coupled with the influence of his multi-instrumentalist uncle, led him to explore music and learn various instruments. He began dancing after being required to do so for a school project. Ken pursued architecture at Cagayan de Oro College before transferring to the Technological Institute of the Philippines following his entry into the entertainment industry.
