Stellvester Ajero, known mononymously as Stell, is a Filipino singer, dancer, and choreographer. He is the main vocalist, lead dancer, and main choreographer of the P-pop group SB19. Renowned for his soaring soprano range and meticulous choreography, Stell has been dubbed the group’s “Heavenly Voice.” His work has significantly contributed to SB19’s dynamic performances and strong vocal identity.

Early Life

Stell was born on June 16, 1995, in Las Piñas, Metro Manila. He studied Hotel and Restaurant Management at STI College. Prior to his music career, Stell was already immersed in the performance scene as a member of the competitive dance crew SE-EON, where he trained and performed alongside future SB19 member Josh. Influenced by artists such as Jed Madela, Morissette, Bruno Mars, and K-pop group VIXX, Stell developed a love for music and performance early in life.

Pre-Debut & Training

  • Trained under ShowBT Philippines starting in 2016, where he was the only trainee to remain consistently during early training phases.

  • Former member of SE-EON, an internationally competitive dance cover group.

With SB19

  • Debuted with SB19 on October 26, 2018, with the single “Tilaluha.”

  • Serves as SB19’s main choreographer and vocal powerhouse.

  • Created choreography for major SB19 singles including:

    • “What?” (lead single of Pagsibol)

    • “Where You At?” (lead single of WYAT EP)

  • Known for his emotional and technically challenging vocal performances in tracks like “Mapa” and “Hanggang Sa Huli.”

  • Played an integral role in the group’s rise to national and international prominence, helping them become a defining force in the P-pop genre.

Other Ventures

  • 2022: Performed “Circle of Life” for A Night of Wonder with Disney+, a Disney+ Philippines launch event.

  • 2023: Became a coach on The Voice Generations (GMA Network), becoming one of the first P-pop idols to mentor contestants in a major singing competition.

  • 2024: Returned as a coach on The Voice Kids Philippines.

  • 2024:

    • June 14: Released debut solo single “Room” under 1Z Entertainment and Warner Music Philippines.

    • August 2: Released debut EP Room, featuring five tracks.

    • Embarked on a four-city promotional tour (Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Taguig), performing both original songs and demanding covers such as “Defying Gravity” and “My Heart Will Go On.”
